Love at the Four Points Chicago O'Hare : Amanda & Arthur's Summer Wedding

Amanda and Arthur met through a mutual friend in Milwaukee where they both worked in television. They went to Summerfest on their first date and talked right over the music, lost in conversation to the point that they had to be kicked off the fair grounds as they shut down the festival for the night. From that point on they always found time for each other, even in the midst of busy schedules and life changes. When their wedding day arrived, the weather was gloomy but there was so much joy in the air. Amanda and Arthur were made for one another, two souls who bring out the best in each other and are stronger together.

The anticipation when Arthur was waiting to see Amanda was almost too much, he was overcome with emotion as his beautiful beaming bride walked down the aisle. Their ceremony was solemn, traditional, and powerfully moving, I had tears in my eyes as the pianist sang Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah" in Polish.

Once the guests were gone, we took advantage of the stunningly dramatic space at St. John Brebeuf for some breathtaking portraits.

They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, and for Amanda and Arthur it meant unique wedding party photos at the local public library. We had so much fun, maybe a little too much fun, it wasn't easy keeping the rowdy group of 18 quiet for the sake of the librarians :)

After the library the rain finally let up, leaving us just enough time to find a local park for some fun bridal party photos. We loved all the yellow sunglasses mixed with purple details.

The stage was set for an unforgettable reception at the Four Points Sheraton at O'Hare. Amanda and Arthur made their grand entrance in style, and surprised the crowd with some pretty impressive dance moves!

Amanda and Arthur shared their first dance as TVK Orchestra played. Arthur used to work for TVK, and it was so fun to watch them perform to a packed dance floor.

As the band played we snuck away for a quiet and romantic good night kiss, I love the way these two complete each other.

Thank you, Amanda and Arthur, for inviting us to share in your beautiful day, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
