Carolyn and Mike first came to my home studio last year to talk about their spring wedding. Our conversation was relaxed and natural, like hanging out with two old friends. They are a couple that anyone could spend an evening with and never want it to end.
When Memorial Day weekend came around, the forecast was just perfect for a beautiful spring wedding. Carolyn was completely radiant and peaceful as she got ready with her closest girlfriends. After she got dressed, we took some pictures with her bridesmaids outside of the church before Mike arrived. Everything was so gorgeous - I was especially in love with Carolyn's springy pink bouquet and blinged-out wedding Converse!
When Mike arrived, he was just as calm and collected as his beautiful bride. Mike is a musician, so it was only natural to have a musical interlude with his groomsmen before the ceremony.
Mike was waiting patiently for the moment he would first see Carolyn, she looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle on her father's arm.
After the ceremony, we headed to our favorite venue, Makray Memorial Golf Club. The building is so beautiful year-round, but on this day it made for a particularly gorgeous backdrop. Carolyn and Mike had the most awesome wedding party, loved the groomsmen with their matching Chuck Taylors.
After pictures on the golf course, we had a few moments before the reception started. Mike took the opportunity to serenade his bride, it was such an incredible moment.
As always the reception hall at Makray was the perfect setting for an elegant dinner followed by a rocking party.
Congratulations, Carolyn and Mike, thank you for inviting us to share in this beautiful and unforgettable day. We love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
