The Chicago Botanic Garden is one of my favorite places to visit. I love exploring the carefully manicured gardens and the wild ambling trails. It is truly gorgeous there year-round, beauty that is always changing with the seasons. I met Hannah and Mike there for their engagement session on a windy winter afternoon, and the usually busy gardens were nearly empty. The stark landscape and bare architectural elements made for such a lovely backdrop for the session, allowing Hannah and Mike's love for one another to be the focus. These two were clearly made for one another. They look at each other and their faces light up; their warmth more than made up for the blustery weather.
When the wind picked up we snuck inside to warm up. While Hannah freshened up I had the chance to talk with Mike, who sweetly and proudly bragged about how amazing his fiancé is. These two absolutely adore one another...
After exploring outside we made our way to the amazing succulent greenhouse, a welcome break from the winter cold. Hannah changed into a perfect little red dress, she looked stunning.
Hannah and Mike, I had such a beautiful day with you, I can't wait to celebrate your wedding this fall! <3
