Teresa and Brian had met a few times over the years at different parties, but didn't start chatting until the fall of 2014. As their connection grew they were worlds apart - she was living in Los Angeles and he was visiting South America. In December, Teresa spontaneously changed her flight plans to have dinner with Brian in San Francisco, and the rest is history. They celebrated their six month anniversary by moving in together on the other side of the country in Boston, and celebrated their 18 month anniversary by getting married.
Much like their relationship, preparing for Teresa and Brian's wedding was a beautiful whirlwind. They are both avid readers and when looking for a wedding venue came across The Library at 190 LaSalle, a gorgeous space that had only one Saturday remaining this summer. The Library was the perfect fit, and to make the day run smoothly they entrusted the amazing Lauren Prado from LOLA Event Productions.
Teresa and Brian arranged to do their first look at one of the most gorgeous spots in the city, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. Designed by renowned architect Alfred Caldwell, the hidden garden is an ode to Prairie-style architecture and was such a beautiful backdrop for their wedding photos.
When we returned to the venue, Teresa's father saw his daughter for the first time and we took some family photos together.
The wedding ceremony was held in the gorgeous and historic lobby of 190 S. LaSalle, the ceiling is meticulously covered in gold leaf and cast the most beautiful light. Teresa and Brian shared their vows in front of their closet friends and family, and danced back down the aisle as husband and wife.
When the time came for the reception to begin, guests were treated to a delicious buffet and tasty cupcakes. The Library is such a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding, and fit Teresa and Brian's personalities just perfectly.
After the toasts, we snuck up into the stacks for some romantic pictures of the newlyweds. These two are so perfectly gorgeous together...
Teresa and Brian's first dance was choreographed, I love when our couples take time to create unforgettable moments like this.
As the guests danced the night away the library nooks were filled with board games, there were some epic Jenga battles taking place.
Thank you, Teresa and Brian, for welcoming us to share this beautiful day with you! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
