Erin and Kevin

Erin and Kevin are incredibly sweet together. They are quiet, unassuming, fun to be around, and deeply in love. Kevin proposed to Erin last February, surprising her with the help of friends and a thoughtfully assembled photo book. Erin discovered the book while in a friend's car, and as she looked through the album she found a letter inside that Kevin had wrote about first meeting the love of his life on a dock at the lake where they first met. As she finished reading the letter, her friend pulled up to that same lake where Kevin was waiting in the snow surrounded by rose petals. He dropped to one knee and proposed and Erin joyfully said yes!!

It was fitting that Erin and Kevin's January wedding day was greeted with a fresh blanket of snow. We arrived at the beautiful Grove Country Club in Long Grove to find Erin happily getting ready with her sister, mom and closest friends as Kevin was relaxing with the guys in the locker room downstairs. Erin was beaming as she slipped into her beautiful gown from The Crystal Bride and she looked truly radiant when she did a first look with her Dad. After seeing her father Erin went out front to see Kevin for the first time, his reaction to seeing his gorgeous bride was so incredibly sweet. The rest of the day Kevin could not take his eyes off Erin.

We traveled together to Buffalo Creek Brewing in downtown Long Grove for pictures with the wedding party. Buffalo Creek is always so kind and generous when we take wedding parties there for photos, it's such a treat to be in their beautiful rustic tap room. On Erin and Kevin's wedding day they also welcomed us to take pictures of the bride and groom in their brewing tank area, we love the contrast of the sleek metal tanks with the soft bridal details. After a beer and some photos we ventured outside to take pictures in the snow. Kevin was so thoughtful and carefully sidestepped along clearing a path for Erin to walk. His shuffling will always stick with me as one of the sweetest things I have ever seen a groom do for his bride.

When we returned to The Grove everything was set for their beautiful and emotional ceremony. Erin and Kevin exchanged vows and rings and then joyfully sealed it all with a kiss before the party began!!
