This wedding... this wedding was just a dream come true. A beautiful couple who only has eyes for each other, surrounded by the most loving and supportive friends and family. Oh, and did I mention it was in CANCUN?!? In FEBRUARY!?!  

Dara and James knew their wedding had to be a truly international affair. They were planning to move back home from Wisconsin to Australia, and had friends and family coming from around the globe to celebrate their big day. So they chose a mid-point in paradise for everyone to vacation - The Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico. It was the perfect spot for everyone to relax, and us midwesterners were especially thrilled to escape the subzero temperatures of a particularly brutal winter. 

This was me at 6am and then 6pm on the first day of Dara and James' wedding weekend adventure - my little blue toes were very happy to feel the sand!

Once everyone arrived the party kicked off with a welcome reception and tea ceremony. Dara's dress was hand-made by her uncle - he had been working on it since she was 12! It was such a gorgeous garment, hand-made with love by an amazing artist.

Once everyone was dressed, Dara and James' welcomed their family with a beautiful and heartfelt tea ceremony. 

On the morning of Dara and James' wedding, my assistant and I snuck in a little time by the pool. Just another day at the office...

I mean, could I possibly have any more to be thankful for?!? The weather was just perfect on their wedding day, we even had lovely puffy white clouds floating out over the ocean. But the beauty of Cancun was nothing compared to Dara - she was bubbling over with joy and looked just gorgeous.

Every detail fit perfectly with the caribbean vibe.

There wasn't a dry eye when Dara's mom helped her get dressed.

Dara and James decided to do a First Look, and it was totally epic. Dara was so excited to see James she was jumping for joy!

These two... Their ceremony was just as emotional, and gorgeous, and perfect...

We surprised the happy couple with paper airplanes, to match the airplanes on their wedding invitations, flying overhead as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.

And then the party really got started. Mariachis. Custom bobble head cake topper. Surprise fireworks. And the best dance-off EVER.

This one will be hard to top... Thank you, Dara and James, for treating us like family during the most memorable weekend of your lives. We love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
