2015 marked our busiest wedding season yet, we were blessed to be part of so many beautiful and memorable weddings. Every December it seems we look forward to shooting a holiday wedding as our last of the year, and we were so thankful to be part of Becky and Heath's gorgeous Christmas celebration. Becky and Heath are one of those couples that stir up a little bit of jealousy (or at least admiration) when you spend time with them - they are kind, warm, funny and comfortable together, not to mention super good looking :) Their wedding day was a true celebration of their relationship, partners in crime entering into a lifelong journey of faith and friendship.

The Crowne Plaza O'Hare provided the perfect backdrop, I love this venue. Becky and her bridesmaids got ready in a great space on the top floor, when we arrived the champagne was already flowing. Two of Becky's bridesmaids are also Something Blue brides, it was a treat to hang out with these lovely ladies!

Becky's dress was absolutely stunning, just perfect for a winter wedding. Heath is a dedicated police officer, so there were plenty of handcuff details to be found - how cool are his cufflinks?

When Becky got dressed she transformed into the most gorgeous bride, just simply breathtaking.

The weather was unseasonably warm for December, with temperatures nearing 60 degrees. We were so lucky to be able to take photos outside! Becky and Heath decided to do a first look, and it was just perfect. Heath's face when he saw Becky!?! Dying...

I mean, how great are these two together?

Their wedding party was equally awesome...

Did I mention that Becky had her Mom as a bridesmaid, and Heath had his Dad as a groomsman? What an awesome way to honor their parents on the biggest day of their lives.

Once we finished with wedding party photos, Becky saw her dad for the first time in her wedding dress. It was such a beautiful moment, even I was wiping away the tears from behind my camera.

Becky and Heath's ceremony was so touching, they shared their own vows and took communion to mark their commitment to one another and to the Lord.

After the ceremony, we slipped away to take some pictures just of Becky and Heath together - we were invited into the Rosemont Theatre, what an absolutely beautiful space. The lights, the trees, the staircase - it was magical, what a perfect place for some epic romantic portraits.

The reception space at the Crowne Plaza was stunning as well, perfectly decorated to fit with Becky and Heath's holiday theme.

Becky and Heath made their grand entrance to the "Cops" theme song, with him in handcuffs and her wearing aviator shades. Then they cut their cake and enjoyed their first dance together as husband and wife.

Heath's brothers delivered much more of a roast than a toast, an awesome presentation given in love (and overflowing with laughs!)

Becky and Heath's parent dances were both sweet and fun, I always love when we get to see the parents bust some amazing dance moves!

After their first dances and bouquet toss, Becky and Heath played "The Honeymoon Game," these two somehow manage to be hilarious and romantic all at once.

The dance floor filled quickly and everyone partied the night away, happily celebrating a perfect day.
