Kate & Adam's Hotel Allegro Downtown Chicago Wedding

She described it as "the best first date ever." After Kate and Adam met they found an instant connection, and on New Year's Eve he took a cab to find her just in time to kiss her at midnight. How beautifully romantic is that?!? Kate has the biggest heart, and loves Adam fiercely. To hear her talk about him is like listening to poetry, like a sonnet composed about the meaning of love itself. Kate and Adam's wedding at the stunning Kimpton Hotel Allegro in the heart of Chicago was bursting with romance and emotion. Every gorgeous Art Deco detail was carefully considered by the amazing Lauren from LOLA Event Productions. While the weather outside was gloomy, the day was filled with such radiant joy. Kate was beaming in her breathtaking Monique Lhuillier gown, and Adam was smiling from ear to ear in his classic navy tux.

After Kate and Adam's emotional first look, we braved the rainy and cold fall Chicago weather to take pictures at the classic Lyric Opera House. Kate put on her mom's dramatic velvet cape for a few photos, she looked amazing and was bursting with happiness.

When we returned to the hotel, Kate and Adam shared their vows with one another in a touching and intimate ketubah ceremony.

When the time came to officially say "I do" in front of their closest family and friends, all eyes were on Kate as she floated down the aisle with her parents. After Adam stomped on the glass to signify the start to their marriage, the party began and lasted throughout the night at the luxurious Hotel Allegro. We loved being there for every sweet moment, it was an unforgettable evening.

After their hora we snuck outside for a few end-of-the night pictures. Miraculously it stopped raining just long enough for us to capture some epic moments on the wet and beautiful streets of Chicago. As our Uber pulled up to the Hotel Allegro it started pouring again, the streets were flooding and we had no easy way out of the car. Adam swept Kate up in his arms and carried her to the cheers of guests waiting on the valet, it was the sweetest and most romantic ending to a wedding we had ever witnessed. That moment spoke volumes about this couple and the love they share for one another.
