Lisa and Colin met in Madrid, Spain in January 2014 where both were studying abroad. One fateful day, Colin was playing basketball with some students and they invited him out to watch the NFL playoffs with some friends. That night, Colin sat next to Lisa, and the two hit it off immediately. Over the remaining semester, Colin and Lisa became best friends, studying together and traveling across Europe and Spain. The end of the semester approached and Colin & Lisa didn't know what the future would hold. Lisa was going to school in St. Louis, but Colin lived in Texas! Neither of the two knew what to do once Spain was over. Nonetheless, on April 25th Colin made it "official" by asking Lisa to be his girlfriend. Unknown to Colin, Lisa had already applied to transfer to the University of Texas at Dallas. The two began dating more seriously having made it back stateside, and the rest is history! 

Lisa and Colin had the most beautiful fall weather for their wedding set against the gorgeous backdrop of downtown Chicago. Lisa looked radiant in her gorgeous Essense of Australia lace gown, and when Colin first saw his bride walking down the magnificent aisle of Holy Family he said he nearly blacked out and then realized she was standing there next to him :) After their traditional Catholic ceremony we explored the lakefront with Lisa and Colin's awesome wedding party before heading into the Congress Plaza Hotel for an unforgettable reception. As their guests danced the night away we snuck onto the rooftop of the Congress for an unbelievable view of the Chicago skyline, the perfect ending to a perfect day.
