When we met last fall for their engagement session, Rachel and Sean braved the cold and wind for sweet photos alongside Lake Michigan. Midway through their session we stopped at their place for a quick outfit change, and made sure to get some pics with their rescue cat, Jerome. I totally loved that moment, it offered me a glimpse into their lives and their love of cats. As I cat person myself I totally appreciate these two self-described cat enthusiasts who found sweet and subtle ways to incorporate personal details throughout their lovely fall wedding. Centered around the beautiful grounds of the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort, Rachel got ready with her awesome girlfriends (including two other Something Blue brides!) before her first look with Sean. His face was PRICELESS when he first laid eyes on his bride, who looked absolutely amazing in her slinky Made with Love gown. After wedding party photos at the Marriott we traveled to the gorgeous St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wilmette for their traditional and emotional ceremony. It was a beautiful and unforgettable day.
