Katie and Will met in high school while performing in the musical, "West Side Story". She says just "got" each other so quickly and would talk for hours on end. They continued dating through college and after graduation Will proposed on the Saint Viator stage where they first met. Katie and Will are so sweetly perfect together, their love of the stage brought us back to Viator for their adorable engagement session last fall. After nearly a decade together they were joined by their family and friends (34 in their wedding party!!! Our biggest EVER!) as they exchanged vows at Our Lady of the Wayside in Arlington Heights. It was a blustery spring day and the rain kept us inside for most of the day, but we found time for some super fun pictures at the AMC Randhurst, Katie and Will's giant wedding party nearly filled the empty movie theater! When we arrived at Rolling Green Country Club the venue was beautifully set for an epic party, we all danced the night away celebrating this amazing couple.
Just a few days after Katie and Will's wedding, they were shocked to learn of her mother's sudden passing. Kathleen was an amazing woman, an educator who could make a mean Tom Collins and fill a room with her laughter. We were honored to have had the opportunity to meet her, and devastated to hear of Katie's loss.
Congratulations, Katie and Will, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
