At the Chicago Marriott Mag Mile, a first dance was about to commence. Glenna was the banquet captain and asked the tech for PSAV to dim the lights. The room went completely black, and to say the least, Glenna was not happy. Six months later, she ran into that tech once again at a going away party for a mutual coworker. The techs name was Jason and after talking became instant friends. It didn't take long for them to begin dating, and that first encounter at the Chicago Marriott Mag Mile quickly became the best "how we met" story between husband and wife.
Their wedding at The Blackstone was an absolute dream. Glenna, being a wedding planner, hand picked every detail of the day to perfection, and we were so excited when she asked if we could capture it on film! Before their ceremony, the bridesmaids and groomsmen roamed from room to room culminating in a "first touch" between the soon to be wed. Glenna and Jason exchanged gifts and could hardly keep from turning around to see each other! Luckily it wasn't long before Glenna walked down the aisle, and Jason was in tears seeing her for the first time. After the breaking of the glass and a first kiss, their night kicked into full swing. Their entrance was the BEST lip-syncing of Backstreet Boys I have ever seen, the cake had a projected and choreographed light display, and the Hora had every guest in attendance on the dance floor. Glenna and Jason were inseparable the whole night. There is no better way to celebrate being married then some shots with your family, getting down on the dance floor, and a breath of fresh air in some Chicago flurries.
Congratulations, Glenna and Jason, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
