Kristin & Dominic's Sweet Spring Chevy Chase Country Club Wedding

Kristin and Dominic both got ready the morning of their wedding at the Westin Chicago North Shore with a gorgeous view of spring blossoming in the suburbs. Kristin was so joyful as she got into her stunning Allure bridal gown, we just loved being there to see her bridesmaids' reactions to seeing Kristin in her wedding dress. One of our favorite parts of Kristin and Dominic's wedding day was when they exchanged gifts with one another: he gave her an awesome new Apple Watch, and she gave him a new puppy!! Our awesome videographer Gunnar was on hand to help out at Kristin and Dominic's wedding, and happened to step into the guys' room just as Dom was opening his gift from Kristin. He read the note and then saw Gunnar for the first time, he was SO confused and thought that Gunnar was there to deliver his new puppy (which won't actually be born until later this summer). Dominic looked at Gunnar and said "give me the damn dog!" which might now be our absolute favorite thing to shout at Gunnar 😂 Once the confusion subsided it was beyond adorable to see how excited Dominic was about the idea of getting a puppy with his new wife, their little fur baby is arriving SOON and we can't wait to take pictures of the whole family together!

A few months before the wedding, Kristin's dad was hospitalized after a massive heart attack and had to have open heart surgery. Her father was able to recover in time to walk his little girl down the aisle. The moment when her dad saw her for the first time in her wedding dress was SO sweet, we were definitely crying behind our cameras as they held each other tight. After seeing her dad Kristin moved outside for her first look with Dominic, he was completely overwhelmed when he saw his gorgeous bride standing there before him.

We journeyed to the picturesque St. Mary of the Lake for wedding party photos, we just love having the opportunity to photograph at this gorgeous location. From there we landed at Chevy Chase Country Club where Kristin and Dominic sweetly exchanged their vows before partying the night away in the lovely Devonshire Room. It was the perfect day for the sweetest couple, we were so happy and honored to be a part of it.
