Adrienne and Andy's Romantic Chevy Chase Summer Wedding

Adrienne and Andy are ridiculously cute together. When I met with them last fall for their engagement session, I was just overwhelmed by how sweet and in love they both are. They giggle when they are with each other and take care of one another in the most beautiful ways. When it came time to celebrate their wedding this summer at Chevy Chase Country Club, we were all excited to be a part of the next step in Adrienne and Andy's love story.

It was oppressively hot and humid when we arrived at Chevy Chase, and a storm was brewing. Much to Adrienne's disappointment the decision was made to move their ceremony inside because of the weather. But thankfully The Devonshire Room at Chevy Chase is so beautiful and the incredible team at Little Shop on the Prairie made sure that the space was perfectly decorated for their romantic ceremony. Before Adrienne walked down the aisle, Andy opened a gift from his bride and became sweetly emotional; its moments like these that remind us of how much we love what we do.

As the ceremony began the storm clouds passed and the sun started shining, which meant we were able to get outside for photos before the reception began. It turned into the most beautiful day, with one of the prettiest sunsets we have seen over the rolling vista of Chevy Chase's golf course. Adrienne told us that one of her favorite movies was The Princess Diaries, and how she loved the quote about how when someone gets seriously kissed their foot just kinda, "pops." It was so adorable that Andy kissed his beautiful bride seriously under that sunset to make her foot "pop," it was the perfect ending to their fairytale wedding day.
