Colleen and Adam's Romantic Danada House Spring Wedding

July 26, 2019  •  Leave a Comment

Colleen and Adam were matched on eHarmony and quickly started messaging back and forth. Within days they had planned their first date for August 8th, 2015. They began exchanging stories, laughing and talking until the point it felt like they were holding up the table too long for the waitress. They weren't ready to say goodnight yet so they went to Kimmer’s Ice Cream in Wheaton. That sweet first date that ended at Kimmer's marked the beginning of the perfect love story, and two years later Adam asked Colleen to marry him while on an adventure together in Lake Winnebago.

When Adam reached out and asked Something Blue to photograph their wedding, I was truly honored. I have known Adam for years as he was a former AP Art student at Elk Grove High School. He is such a kind soul, and loves Colleen beyond measure, we were thrilled to be a part of their gorgeous wedding. I loved getting to know Colleen and Adam when we did their engagement photos in downtown Wheaton, revisiting Kimmer's where they had their sweetly romantic first date (and first kiss!) Their Memorial Day weekend wedding at Danada House in Wheaton was nothing short of magical. The moment when Adam first saw his stunning bride brought tears to our eyes, and for the rest of the day he was transfixed on Colleen. From that romantic first look to their emotional ceremony to their adorable first dance to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" it was a day we will never forget.
