Rachna and Mihir's Stunning Indian Wedding Weekend at Willow Harbor Vineyards

Every now and again we are invited to document something magical. Rachna and Mihir's two-day Indian wedding celebration at Willow Harbor Vineyards in Three Oaks, Michigan was all sorts of unforgettable magic. As Rachna described it for us beforehand - there will be tons of people, tons of food, and tons of colors - and she did NOT disappoint. What an absolute joy and honor it was for us to travel to Michigan to celebrate with this amazing couple.

When they first connected via social media she thought he was too “mature” for her and did not want to pursue a relationship any further. But Mihir persuaded Rachna to go on a 2nd and 3rd date. On their 4th date, he took her to see the beautiful lights of Chicago and asked her to be his girlfriend (but also told her that if she refused, he would leave her stranded in the city and make her take the train home!) Rachna had no choice but to say YES! 3 years later she said YES again (after Mihir told her he would leave her stranded on the mountain where he proposed in Yosemite if she refused…do you see a pattern here?!) Their unfailing love for one another shone through their elaborate wedding weekend; we kicked off the weekend with an amazing party on Friday evening, and then started EARLY on Saturday with preparations for their meaningful traditional and religious ceremony. And after all the gorgeous ceremonies were over, Rachna and Mihir made one last outfit change to dance the night away at their "starry night" themed reception. It was a weekend we will never forget.
