Ali and Steve's Sunny Summer Westin Itasca Wedding

Ali and Steve are ridiculously cute together. The story of how they met is ridiculously cute - they have technically known each other since 3rd grade but really connected when they were 23 - and after their first real date (where she wore a Batman t-shirt and leggings because she thought they were just hanging out, he thought she came on their date in pajamas!) they were inseparable. They share an adorable pup named Clark who Steve used to help him propose to Ali in February of 2018. Ali loves sunflowers and when they were out walking Clark along their normal route they stumbled upon a blanker, bottle of champagne and a bouquet of sunflowers. Steve popped the question and had his sister hiding in the bushes to capture the moment, and when they came back home both of their families were there waiting to celebrate. Ali says it was the best surprise of her life!

Their wedding day was a beautiful sunny summer afternoon, and from when we arrived we felt surrounded by love. There were sunflowers to be found everywhere, and we loved being there when Ali saw her Dad cry for the first time after seeing his little girl as a bride. After we left Ali's childhood home we settled in at the Westin Itasca for a beautiful ceremony and amazing party. Ali surprised her Dad with a sign that said "Marry Like a Champion Today" inspired by Notre Dame football, they both hit it for luck on their way out to the waterfront for the ceremony. Clarke served his duty as best man like a pro and there wasn't a dry eye as Ali and Steve became husband and wife. It was a magical and wonderful day and we were beyond honored to be a part of it.
