Colleen and Tim's Emotional Summer Chandler's Chophouse Wedding

Colleen and Tim's wedding day was without question one of the most emotional we have ever been a part of. We had a large crew on hand to take photos and video (Liz, Ashley, Marcella, Gunnar and Ryan) and as we spent the day driving from one location to the next we did a LOT of laughing and singing hip hop together in Liz's sketchy minivan. In between stops we were continuously in awe of the deep and abiding love that Colleen and Tim have for one another and the powerful connection they have with their families.

At Colleen's parent's home, she joyfully changed into her stunning two-piece Sophia Tolli wedding gown before sweetly seeing her bridesmaids. But when Colleen stepped outside to see her Dad for the first time on her wedding day, we absolutely ALL started crying (and pretty much didn't stop for the rest of the day!) Colleen's connection with her father was powerfully present throughout the day; that evening when she surprised him before their father-daughter dance with a sweet game of catch on the dance-floor at Chandler's Chophouse we were all again overcome with emotion. Colleen has the truest and kindest heart, and Tim loves her profoundly, being part of their wedding was unforgettable.

Before their ceremony at Our Lady of the Wayside in our hometown of Arlington Heights, Colleen and Tim took a quiet moment for a "first touch" in the brides' room. Again there were many tears shed as their excitement and nerves bubbled over and they gripped each other's hands for one last time before walking down the aisle. After their beautiful ceremony, we made a quick stop for a Guiness at Peggy Kinnane's before heading out to do wedding party photos in Rolling Meadows and Schaumburg. When we finally landed at Chandler's we were treated to an awesome party surrounded by the people closest to Colleen and Tim. It was an amazing day that we truly felt honored to be a part of.
